The Island of Serangan, Bali

in this time we visit the island in Bali located at sound cost under territorial of Denpasar, may lot people know Bali is popular with panoramic and coastal area. one of the island with surrounded by sea, with access a bridge to connect to the Bali island. it call Serangan island.  to reach the island is easy, it is not far from Sanur area take 15 by private transport. the island have a local people as fisherman be a main job but the last decade it change of the people livelihood cause the access to Bali island connected, before that main transport was  boat to Bali take about 20 minutes. until bridge was build. the unique of Serangan there is Sakenan temple from 8 century as important temple for Bali people in the celebrating day come  every 6 month depend on the Balinese Calendar called Kuningan day. Bali people from all over visit the island to have praying in the Sakenan temple. also the island have special food take from sea with low cost  and have containing inside.  that is sea weed. it is easy to find  surround in the island, with local proceed and fresh from sea mix with coconut and fish soup the people say bulung as local name. other name of Serangan is turtle island before decade the island is the nesting area for sea turtle. now there is conservation activities to helping sea turtle in Bali that organization exist since 2006 called TCEC ( Turtle Conservation And Education Center ) here ideal place to visited to see close with the fantastic animal of sea turtle, the activities friendly with nature and possible to be volunteer, or just visit the conservation the staff will friendly to share the information, which the place have pond with injure turtle from rescue, babies pond before release , hatchery to relocated the eggs, in some season visitor can see directly to see the turtle hatchling also can be adopter to release them back into ocean . the organization are also active to educate local people to send them weariness with nature .
