The TCEC team is always alert to receive calls to rescue sea turtles or marine mammals around Bali throughout February 2023, The rescue team received 3 calls with cases of stranded sea turtles on Kuta beach with varying sizes, mostly juvenile sea turtles with limp conditions reported from the conservation team in Kuta with unfriendly weather situations. All turtles that were rescued were continued to be examined by a team of doctors from Kedonganan Veterinary to find out further conditions and further treatment will be placed in the treatment pool in the TCEC pool with the appropriate treatment recommended by the medical team, One of the things that will be routinely done to care for turtles by providing fresh or healthy food, starting to provide seaweed directly picked in the sea around Serangan Island for green turtles, for Olive Ridley and Hawksbill turtles will be given fresh fish food directly from local traditional fishermen, to support health improvement will be assisted by the Udayana univercity turtle guard team who conduct weekly checks in the treatment pond.

Currently there are 7 sea turtles rescued from Kuta beach that are still being treated, the hawksbill and Olive Ridley turtles are still being monitored for health every day. Most of the turtles that were rescued experienced weak and traumatic situations due to the unfriendly sea waves. From December 2022 to February 2023, weather conditions on the island of the gods were less friendly with high rainfall and relatively strong winds followed by high waves, In addition to the influence of the weather on the Kuta beach, it is flowed by several rivers that carry river water spilling onto the beach, many plastic waste is found carried by the flow of the river to the sea which causes piles of garbage to fill the shoreline by making several efforts involving large beach cleaning and taking it to the nearest waste processing, it is widely known that plastics that are carried into the sea or thrown into the sea cause many turtles and several types of fish to die, due to being eaten or entangled in plastic. The tcec team regularly conducts beach clean-ups around Serangan, and provides information about plastic waste and the impact it has on the marine ecosystem.

There are lots of schools or organizations that have noble goals by conducting environmentally friendly activities by campaigning to reduce the use of plastic and creating plastic made from organic materials which may be the solution in the future to reduce conventional plastic and conducting continuous education to provide education about waste itself, activities at tcec may be a small part to encourage them with activities that care about the surrounding environment to be spread from friends to continue this positive energy to maintain the balance of this nature which can later be passed on to the next generation.
